Temporary pause on non-urgent maintenance work and construction

To reduce the movement of people around the state, in accordance with the South Australian Government’s Public Health direction, all non-urgent maintenance work and construction has been temporarily paused on SA Housing Authority properties.

Priority maintenance work requests will continue for critical amenities such as hot water, sewerage, cooking, and heating. Work that needs to be done for safety reasons in occupied properties will also be attended to. All other construction and non-essential work will cease until further notice. COVID-19 safety protocols will be adhered by contractors when attending properties such as the use of face masks, social distancing and hand sanitisation. We encourage tenants to follow Public Health Directions.

We understand this may create some delays in completing works and we apologise for any inconvenience.
