Experienced and trusted social services provider AnglicareSA Housing has been awarded a 20-year lease to manage mixed-use CBD building UNO Apartments, to support some of the most vulnerable in our community.
UNO Apartments, in Waymouth Street, is a 17-storey mixed-use building that brings together residential and commercial tenancies, along with affordable and social housing, and a youth homelessness crisis service.
Following a competitive tender process, from 1 July 2020 AnglicareSA Housing will manage social housing tenancies, commercial tenancies and place making at UNO Apartments.
As part of a partnership agreement, St John’s Youth Services will continue to manage the youth homelessness crisis service, Youth110, which provides support and accommodation to young people aged 16 to 21.
This is an excellent example of non-government organisations working together and with government, to achieve better housing outcomes for South Australians.
As part of our broader reform process under our 10-year housing strategy Our Housing Future 2020-2030, we will be continuing to work closely with service providers to create an efficient housing system that meets the needs of South Australians.
