We are excited to continue our work to modernise the state’s social housing system in partnership with the housing sector - to deliver better, fairer and more efficient services to South Australians.

As part of the upcoming consultation with key stakeholders, we will be reviewing the current eligibility criteria for social housing and making it easier for our customers to access the services they need, when they need them - with more services available online.

The reforms will not result in anyone currently in public housing losing their tenancy, but will improve the state’s housing system so more South Australians can break into homeownership and build a brighter future.
