Regional South Australians are urged to have their say at a series of community forums this month to help shape the state’s housing future.
The forums – to be held over two weeks from 12 August - will give regional communities the chance to put forward their ideas about how to reform the housing system across the housing spectrum, from homelessness to social and affordable housing.
The community’s input will help shape the South Australia’s new State Housing and Homelessness Strategy, which will be finalised and launched by the end of 2019. The strategy will be a 10-year plan to improve housing outcomes for all South Australians.
Community engagement is also underway online at www.talkabout.housing.sa.gov.au and www.yoursay.sa.gov.au until 31 August 2019. Submissions can also be mailed to SA Housing Authority, GPO Box 1669, Adelaide, SA 5001; or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
