With severe thunderstorms, rain and damaging winds forecast for tonight across South Australia, a state-wide Code Blue response has been activated in all regions to keep the most vulnerable in our community warm and dry.

We are busy working together with our homelessness service providers to ensure additional accommodation and support is available to assist people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

In Adelaide:

• Westcare (Baptist Care SA), 11/19 Millers Ct Adelaide will be open for overnight accommodation
• Street to Home will be providing additional outreach services to people experiencing homelessness
• Trace-A-Place (SYC), 135 Currie St Adelaide will be extending hours until 7pm tonight.

In regional areas, if you are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, please call the South Australian Homelessness Gateway on 1800 003 308 to be connected to local services and emergency accommodation.

No matter where you are in South Australia, the Homelessness Gateway is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round.
