We are proud to be working in partnership with ac.care, Habitat for Humanity South Australia and Anglicare SA on Purpose Studio, a project to deliver accommodation and support for young people at risk of homelessness in Murray Bridge.

The Authority has provided two properties to be transformed into four self-contained units for short-term lease by young people in the Murray Bridge community.

This project will provide safe accommodation for young people at risk, where they can focus on their health and wellbeing, education and gaining secure employment.

Our Chief Executive Michael Buchan welcomed the initiative to help youth in the Murray Bridge region.

“We are delighted to be involved in this project,” he said.

“The provision of these two properties will mean safe accommodation for young people to stay and have the stability they need to engage with support services to help them plan for the future.”
