Located on Greenhill Road in Eastwood, Wirra Mikangka (Before the Forest in Kaurna) is South Australia’s first state-government backed build-to-rent development, offering a mix of social, affordable, and market rental housing. Delivered in partnership with Housing Choices South Australia, the project supports diverse tenancies and long-term housing security.

- 151 apartments across two towers: 20 social housing, 101 affordable rentals (at 75% of market rent), and 30 market rentals
- Direct access to Adelaide’s park lands, public transport, and essential services
- Designed to support community integration through mixed-tenure living
- Early works completed, including site preparation, civil works, and infrastructure upgrades
- Total project cost of $86 million, with $56 million committed by Housing Australia through the National Housing Infrastructure Facility
- Long-term partnership: Housing Choices SA to manage the site under a 49-year agreement with the SA Housing Trust.
